This is a near-perfect, highly detailed original rubbing from a trophy 2 pound 10 ounce Crappie caught by Aubrey Ansel of Chesapeake Virginia in the Northwest River. This fish qualified for a Virginia State trophy citation. Many anglers fish their entire life and never catch a Crappie this big. The full color gyotaku was done on a sheet of natural color unryu fiber rice paper.
